What this tool does

A flat PDF can't be typed into — recipients print it, fill it by hand, and scan it back. This tool turns any PDF into a genuine fillable form by writing real AcroForm fields into the file: text inputs, checkboxes, radio groups, dropdowns, date fields and signature fields. The result opens in Acrobat, Foxit, Chrome, Edge and most PDF readers as a normal interactive form.

Everything runs locally in your browser. The document never leaves your device, which matters for the exact documents forms usually are — applications, contracts, HR paperwork, medical intake sheets.

Field types you can place

Required, validation and calculated fields

Each field can be marked required or read-only. Text fields accept validation rules — restrict input to numbers, require an email-shaped value, or supply your own regular expression. Validation is written as standard Acrobat JavaScript in the field's validate event, so it runs inside the reader, not just on this page.

A text field can also be calculated: pick sum, average, product, minimum or maximum and choose the source fields. The calculation is injected as a proper calculate event and the field is added to the document's calculation order, so totals update themselves as the form is filled.

Start from scratch or from a template

Upload an existing PDF — a scanned paper form, a Word export, a designed layout — and place fields exactly where the blanks are. Or skip the upload entirely and start from one of the built-in templates (contact form, membership application, survey): the fields arrive pre-placed and fully editable, so a working form is a minute of tweaking away.

Fields can be moved, resized, duplicated and renamed at any point before download. The field list in the sidebar mirrors the canvas, so nothing placed on a busy page gets lost.
