How CBZ to PDF Conversion Works

A CBZ file is just a ZIP archive full of page images — JPEG, PNG, WebP, and friends — one image per page. This tool opens the archive, pulls out every image (including ones buried in nested folders), sorts them with numeric-aware ordering so page2 comes before page10, and embeds each one as a PDF page.

JPEG and PNG pages are embedded as-is with no re-encoding, so the output keeps the original image quality. Other formats are re-encoded to JPEG at the quality you choose. Everything runs in your browser — the archive never leaves your device.

Why Convert CBZ to PDF

CBZ is great for comic readers, but PDF is the format everything else understands.

Reading Order and Page Sizes

Page order comes from the archive's own filenames, sorted with a natural (numeric-aware) comparison — the same ordering your comic reader uses. Entries that are not images, like ComicInfo.xml metadata or macOS resource files, are ignored automatically.

Original size keeps each page at its native pixel dimensions. US Comic (6.63 x 10.25 in), A4, and Letter scale every page to fit a fixed sheet, centered, with no cropping.

What About CBR Files?

CBR archives use RAR compression, which browsers cannot decompress natively and this tool does not support. If your library is in CBR, repack it as CBZ first — most comic managers (or simply unzipping and re-zipping the folder) can do it in one step.
