Does this change the visible contract?

No. The page content is untouched. The tool adds a guide layer — flag markers, optional links, bookmarks and a checklist — that is meant for on-screen signing flow.

Will the flags appear if the PDF is printed?

Not by default. Guides are injected as screen-only unless you enable Print the flags too, in which case the markers are also included on paper.

What if no signature spots are detected?

That is common with scans and flattened PDFs. Use Add anchor, then click each signing location on the preview to place manual anchors.

Can I edit a detected spot?

Yes. Each anchor can be relabeled, assigned a different signer color, selected to jump to its page, or removed before you inject the guides.

What are chained next-field links?

When enabled, clicking one flagged spot jumps the signer to the next flagged spot, creating a guided path through the document instead of a scavenger hunt.

Can it handle password-protected PDFs?

Yes. If the file is locked, you can unlock it locally with the password before detection and previewing.

Is my contract uploaded?

No. Rendering, detection, anchor editing and PDF writing all run in your browser. The file never leaves your device.

Does it work on mobile?

Yes. The preview, page controls and guide settings work in modern mobile browsers, with settings available in a bottom sheet.

A Guided Tour for the Signer

Long contracts fail in boring ways: a missed initial on page 14, a date field nobody noticed, a signature line hidden after an appendix. This tool reads your PDF, looks for likely signature and form spots, then injects a guide layer that helps the recipient move from one required spot to the next without hunting.

The visible document is left alone. The helper adds flag-style markers on screen, optional links that jump to the next spot, a sidebar bookmark index, and an optional final checklist page. By default those guides are screen-only, so a printed copy still looks like the original contract unless you explicitly choose to print the flags.

Automatic Detection, Manual Rescue

Digital PDFs often expose signature fields, empty form widgets or telltale sign-here text. Scans are different: a photographed signature line is just pixels, so automatic detection may find nothing. When that happens, switch to Add anchor and click each signing location directly on the preview.

Every anchor can be relabeled, recolored for different signers, revisited by selecting its row, or removed before export. Page navigation and zoom controls make it practical to inspect a dense contract without losing your place.

Contracts Stay on Your Device

Agreements routinely contain names, addresses, salaries, deal terms and signatures-in-waiting. Sending them to a server just to add navigation markers is unnecessary risk.
