Margin space is a feature

Lecture slides and textbook PDFs are designed to be read, not worked in. The moment you want to derive a formula beside the question, annotate a blueprint, or translate a paragraph in a language class, the page has no room. This tool grows each page's canvas outward — the original content stays exactly where it was, untouched — and draws a study template into the new space.

The expansion is a real page-box change, not an overlay or a screenshot. The output is a normal PDF with wider pages, so it opens in Goodnotes, Notability, Xodo, Acrobat, or any reader, and a stylus writes on it like any other page.

Templates for different kinds of thinking

Left, right, both, or bottom

Right-side margins suit right-handed annotators and most slide decks. Left margins work for right-to-left languages and left-handed writers. Both sides doubles the working space for dense problem sets. A bottom margin adds a working strip under each page — good for worksheet-style documents where answers go below the question.

Margin width is adjustable from 100 to 350 pt (about 1.4 to 4.9 inches). A faint dashed line marks the original page edge so the boundary between source content and scratch space stays visible.

Lossless by design

Nothing is rasterized, scaled, or re-compressed. The page's media box simply grows and vector lines are drawn in the new area — text stays selectable, images keep their resolution, and the file works everywhere a normal PDF does. Line colors are deliberately quiet — blue-gray, warm brown, green, or light gray — so the template guides your pen without competing with the page.
