How PDF to BMP Export Works
BMP is the simplest image format there is — raw, uncompressed pixel data. This tool renders each PDF page at your chosen DPI and saves it as a BMP file. No compression, no quality loss, no encoding artifacts. What you see on the PDF page is exactly what you get in the image.
One page makes one BMP file. Multiple pages get zipped. The whole thing runs in your browser without uploading anything.
Why BMP Still Matters
BMP isn’t trendy. It’s old, it’s big, and it’s the last thing you’d put on a website. But there are real situations where nothing else works.
Legacy Systems
Some industrial equipment, medical imaging systems, and embedded hardware only accept BMP input. If the system says BMP, you give it BMP.

File Size Warning
BMP files are large. Uncompressed means every pixel is stored individually. A single page at 300 DPI can produce a file of 25 MB or more. If you don’t specifically need uncompressed output, use PNG (lossless but compressed) or JPEG (lossy but tiny).
That said, if you’re feeding a legacy system or a scientific pipeline, the size is the point. No decoder, no compression surprises, just raw pixel data.
