What Gets Extracted
The tool parses the word/document.xml file inside the DOCX archive and extracts text from paragraph elements. The text is reflowed using Helvetica font at your chosen size. This means you get the text content with clean formatting, but complex Word features like tables, images, tracked changes, and advanced styling are simplified.
