About Image to PDF
How Image to PDF Conversion Works
Drop your images in — PNG, BMP, GIF, WebP, SVG, HEIC, or JPEG — and the tool creates a PDF with one image per page. For formats that pdf-lib can’t embed natively (like BMP, GIF, WebP, and SVG), the tool rasterizes them through a canvas to JPEG before embedding. PNG and JPEG go straight in without re-encoding.
You pick the page size (Fit to Image, A4, or Letter), orientation, margins, and quality. The PDF builds in your browser and downloads to your device. Nothing gets uploaded anywhere.
When You Need an Image to PDF Converter
This is the catch-all converter for when your images aren’t JPEGs — or when you have a mix of formats you need in one PDF.
Mixed Format Bundles
Got PNGs, WebP files, and a couple of SVGs? Drop them all in. The tool handles the format differences so you don’t have to convert each one first.
Web Graphics to PDF
Designers export WebP and SVG for the web. When a client needs a PDF proof or a print-ready file, this tool does the conversion without extra software.
Document Scanning
Phone cameras save photos as HEIC on iOS. Convert those scanned receipts, whiteboards, or handwritten notes straight to PDF.
Print Preparation
PDFs give you control over page size and margins. Convert your images to a print-ready PDF instead of hoping the printer app handles raw images correctly.

Supported Formats
PNG and JPEG embed directly into the PDF without re-encoding, so quality stays exactly as-is. BMP, GIF, WebP, and SVG are rasterized through a canvas element and saved as JPEG at your chosen quality level. SVG files use the browser’s native renderer, which means they look exactly the way they do in your browser.
Fit to Image mode sizes each page to match the image dimensions (converted from pixels to PDF points at 72 DPI). A4 and Letter modes place the image centered on a standard page, scaled to fit within margins.
Privacy: Everything Stays Local
Your images are processed entirely in your browser. No files get uploaded. No server sees your data. When the tab closes, so does any trace of your file. If your images contain sensitive content — medical records, personal photos, proprietary designs — they never leave your device.
