About Rotate PDF
How PDF Rotation Works
Somebody scanned a stack of documents and half of them came out sideways. Or you exported a landscape chart into a portrait PDF. Either way, you need to rotate pdf pages before anyone can read the thing.
OxygenPDF lets you rotate individual pages or the entire document by 90°, 180°, or 270°. Select the pages that need fixing, pick a rotation angle, and hit apply. The corrected PDF downloads straight to your device.
When You Need to Rotate PDF Pages
Rotation problems pop up everywhere. Scanners, cameras, export settings — anything that captures a page can get the orientation wrong.
Scanned Documents
Flatbed scanners and document feeders don’t care which way you put the paper in. Fix the ones that came out sideways or upside down.
Presentation Slides
Landscape slides exported into portrait PDFs become unreadable. Rotate the whole document 90° and it’s fixed.
Phone-Scanned Pages
Camera apps guess orientation. They guess wrong a lot. Rotate the pages your phone captured at the wrong angle.
Mixed Orientation PDFs
Some documents mix portrait and landscape pages. Select just the ones that need turning and leave the rest alone.
How It Compares
Rotating PDFs is basic. The question is whether you can rotate individual pages, handle batches, and keep your files off someone else’s server.

Rotate Individual Pages or Everything at Once
Select specific pages in the thumbnail grid and rotate just those. Or select all and rotate the whole document with one click. Each page tracks its own rotation state — you can turn page 3 clockwise while flipping page 7 upside down.
The rotation adds to whatever angle the page already has. If a page is already rotated 90° in the PDF metadata, rotating it another 90° makes it 180°. You’re always working with the final visible result.
Why Nothing Gets Uploaded
Scanned contracts, medical forms, legal filings — the PDFs that need rotating tend to be ones you’d rather not upload. Most online rotation tools send your file to a server for processing.
OxygenPDF rotates pages in your browser. Nothing gets uploaded. No lingering data after you’re done.
