About the Printable Calendar
A 2027 Calendar, or a 2026 One, as a PDF
Pick a year and this page draws a calendar for it as a PDF: twelve pages with a month on each, a single month, or all twelve months on one sheet. The year starts on the coming one from October onward, because that is when people start printing next year’s calendar, and any year from last year to five years ahead is one menu away.
Every month is drawn from the date arithmetic itself, not copied from a template, so the first of the month lands on the right weekday in any year you choose. 2027 opens on a Friday, 2026 opened on a Thursday, and February 2028 has 29 days. The grid shows each of them correctly without anyone having typed them in.
Three Layouts and the Settings That Matter
A calendar is only useful if it matches how you plan. These are the choices that change what lands on the paper.
A Month per Page, One Month, or the Year
Twelve pages with writable day boxes for the fridge or the wall, one page for a single month, or the whole year on one sheet for planning at a glance.
Any Starting Month
Start the twelve months in September for a school year, or in April for a financial year. The title and every month label carry the right year.
ISO Week Numbers
An optional column of ISO 8601 week numbers beside each week, the numbering most of Europe and many workplaces plan by.
Notes Lines
An optional ruled strip under each month’s grid for appointments, birthdays and reminders that need more room than a day box.
Sunday, Monday or Saturday First
Which day a week starts on is not a matter of taste. The United States, Japan and India start on Sunday; most of Europe and China start on Monday; Egypt and much of the Gulf start on Saturday. A grid that starts on the wrong day puts every date in the column you do not expect.
The calendar starts the week where your language and region do, using the region your browser reports when it reports one, so an English reader in the UK gets Monday and one in the US gets Sunday. Any of the three is one click away.
Month and Day Names in Your Language
Month and weekday names come from your browser’s own date formatting in the language of the page you are on, so a German calendar says Januar and Montag and a Japanese one says 2027年1月. In Arabic the grid runs right to left, and in Thai the year is written in the Buddhist Era, as Thai calendars are.
Paper follows the same logic. US Letter is the default where it is the standard paper, which means the US, Canada, Mexico, much of Central America and the Philippines, and A4 everywhere else. A5, half an A4 sheet, is there for planners and desk pads, along with Legal and A3.
Print at Actual Size
A calendar is a grid that has to fill one page exactly, which makes it the document most easily spoiled by a print dialog. “Fit to page” shrinks the page into the printer’s margins and every box with it. Choose the paper size that is in your printer, then print at Actual size or 100% with fit-to-page turned off, and the grid keeps the half-inch margin it was drawn with.
The PDF is built in your browser with pdf-lib, and nothing about it is sent to a server. There is no account, no email gate and no watermark. Public holidays are not printed, because they differ by country and often by state, and a list nobody checked for your region would put the wrong days off on your wall.
